The website clinicastelemed.com is an initiative of Dr. Manuel Ruiz in Panama and was officially launched in July 2022 for virtual medical consultations. This "teleconsultation" service uses telemedicine tools recommended by the WHO and the Ministries of Health of many countries. We aspire to growth and positioning with new e-Health technologies for your benefit.
DR. MANUEL RUIZ
Panamanian physician, graduated in 1998 from UCIMED (Costa Rica), with extensive experience in general medicine, medical emergencies, preventive medicine, and hyperbaric medicine. His training includes digital health transformation, health information systems, telemedicine, quality of care and patient safety, as well as negotiation for conflict mediation, administration and auditing of health services, among others.
Dr. Ruiz completed observational medical rotations at hospitals affiliated with Harvard Medical School and has taken several medical courses offered by the school. His services include national medical assistance and a medical volunteer mission to Guinea, Africa. He worked as an associate professor of propedeutics and pathophysiology at a private university in Panama.
In 2017, he received recognition from the White House Medical Unit in the USA. He currently practices in the Panamanian public and private sectors.
